their normal capped fatpipe is average, but their bolt on accounts are awful...

How does one cancel an account with Vox? Is the option available via their web interface? I'm not seeing it...

Yea, After all the time of having my vox accs, never knew how to cancel lol, couldn't see an option on the interface.

Will be asking them to cancel my bolt on account... so useless... :whistling:

The last time we did whistling and nothing to see here is when things went down hill :p

 The 200gb capped account is sweet but surplus to my needs and @ R639 not quite worth the premium when compared to say an Axxess double your data account @ R565 for 300gb's.

Personally I'd rather pay a bit more and be happy with the product I am receiving.
So many people suggested Web Africa to me, I have just cancelled after trialing them for a month.
All this extra data just doesn;t serve me in the slightest.

Yeah, I agree to some extent. I'm trying hard to justify the cost! I'm using WebAfrica as well as Axxess and now Vox!!

Juggling accounts in an attempt to find the sweet spot! It's becoming increasingly frustrating! The problem is the nature of each account changes from month to month.

WA's after hours proposition is appealing but from 12am-6am. Uncapped bolt-on makes a mockery of that!

What's also annoying is the cancellation periods. Calendar month for WA and Vox, Axxess by the 25th.

In the last day or 2 I've cancelled and retracted cancellation half a dozen times and I'm still not done!

I'm trying to manage accounts for 7 lines at different locations so my actions have repercussions for a number of businesses and private individuals.

Anyway....

This is why I stayed with MWeb, then Plugg for ages and am still sticking with Vox even though there have been issues.

You guys experiencing any glitches on vox? i have a slight buffering issue when streaming, i lowered my throughput from 3.5MB to 2MB and streaming better. this started a few days ago, seems like just me at the moment as this thread is very quiet?

Been good the last weeks or so, getting good latency and full speed.

Same for me p2p streaming buffering, speed test fine but nntp running between 50 - 100 kb 4 mb line which is not normal. Speculating some shaping going on. Although Im on fat pipe + bolt on that I understood was unshaped.

Yeah, glitch after glitch after glitch! Vox is bloody garbage! Can't wait for the end of the month so I can move!! :whistling:;)

My only complaint is they won't let me bolt-on to the fat pipe account.

Makes no sense. I cancelled my 200gb fat pipe and am now just using their gig4gig + uncapped bolt-on @ R59.

Guy in cancellations phoned me to ask why I was cancelling. Told him wanted the bolt-on and assumed I could do it with fat pipe.

He said no, I said why not? He said due to rollover, which I said I would waiver. He said due to the bolt-on being limited to 10mb lines to which I replied I could only get 10mb.

Said he would put in a special request but appears the account has been cancelled nonetheless.

Makes no sense at all. I'm giving them R59 a month to rape bolt-on when they could be getting R700...

WOW VOX last night had latency over 1000ms, seems like it started after 9pm. had to switch off any online activities because it was unusable.

I only had issues with my bolt on account(No throughput) but when I switched to my fatpipe then all seemed fine.
