How's Vox performance for Capetonians these days?
Just signed up for the 100Gb special. Awesome deal. Kicked my Openweb capped account.
For those that are wondering. I was using Vox for long and they always had unlimited concurrent connections. This became a problem when they launched the R59 uncapped bolt on which meant that people could share the account and hammer it.
They reduced the concurrent connections to 1. Why fatpipe? Back then bolt on was able to be bolted on fatpipe accounts and I guess they saw limiting it to 1 was the best solution.
My friend still has his 100GB fatpipe with R59 bolton. Best account Vox ever sold but also financial ruin.....

Welcome back, I also recently acquired a 100GB fatpipe special
Fatpipe with bolt-on was the donkey's balls, until the started the speed limit thing.
What is the total monthly payment? On top of the R164 and 189 for Telkom monthly rental is there any other payment?
Do they charge pro rata for the 100gb account? I cancelled my afrihost account, so I don't want to pay full price for this one on the 31st and then again on the 1st.
Great, thank youthey do charge pro rata
Great, thank you

Where do they state that? I'm talking specifically about 100GB special that costs R164 per month.
on the website under the product page
Still can't find it, even when I do a site:voxtelecom.co.za "reviewed after 12 months". It is cached in the search results, but when I go to the actual page, I don't see anything. Not even in any of the pdf docs. Maybe I'm just being daft.
Cos if they allowed this, you'd create a platform of informally reselling cheaper or excess data. Thanks for stating the obvious. I was enquiring if someone has found out why Vox is selling it like this. Capped is capped if I want to split it into 2 or more locations, I still only get to use the xxxGB I bought.
