Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Yeh, I noticed the same thing last night.
I changed to Afrihost and it was fine.
Speedtests to CT and JHB were getting 130ms pings.

I've also noticed that Hulu buffers badly for some reason.

Speeds absolutely non-existent for me. Maybe 20kBps if i'm lucky.

20 minutes to buff a 3 minute YouTube clip @480p.

Quite pathetic for a "premium" account.

Vox fatpipe dead for me tonight. Cannot resolve anything. Posting from .... Afrihost.

Welcome to 2015 I guess. I'll be cancelling soon if this continues.
 
Working again but speeds less than half of Afrihost this evening using thinkbroadband UK speedtest.

Piss Poor. Not what I expect from a premium service and premium prices. December's great performance was always going to be too good to last it seems.

We await some feedback from Voxy from the technical team.

I await winning the lotto as well. Seems more likely at this stage.
 
10:20pm and my Vox account has died again.

AH and WA perfect.

Whole month of December was perfect. What has changed ?
 
My vox account is also performing bad this week. I will log a call today. December was also bliss for me.

I'm beginning to think that demand > capacity and it's starting to show during peak times.

Afrihost is performing well when I have to use them currently ... makes one think.
 
Still no feedback from VOX. Their technical team must be stumped, because you can bet your bottom dollar that it will happen again tonight.

Due to the overwhelming response we have received for Fat Pipe, we have had to upgrade our network once again and we are awaiting upstream installation to be completed.
We are hoping to have it resolved by next week.

Is it IPC upgrades from Telkom? Or on other providers of your network?
