Have you also experienced the capping while still having data wingnut?

Yes, last year it happened to me about 3 times, it would say "capped" instead of "active". The first time happened near the end of the month, but after a week with the call centre, the problem resolved itself when the new month started. The next time I sent voxy & cvanwie (he was active back then) a PM, then things got fixed, but only for as long as the next batch of data, then would have to go through the process again.

So far so good, as it hasn't happened again (this is really the first time I'm using the account in about 4 months) but if it happens again, I'll probably cancel.

I really thought this was fixed :wtf:
 
Day four of the capped diaries, escalated it to the two managers I found on the Support section.

At least I got a call from someone at about 5pm telling me the problem is resolved, and that they will have someone call me at 6 to check (when I got home)

Still waiting for that call, while the capping continues.

btw wingnut, mine says Active not capped in my account, adding to the frustration

hmmm, then that's a new problem now, mine always said capped when it stopped working, even though I would still have like 100GB's still to go. After 6pm when bolt-on kicked in it would start working again until the next morning.

Sorry bro, it's the worst when such a stupid fault completely ruins it. What makes it worse is support saying that you have used the data and it's just not showing on the counters. That really ticked me off!
 
My account was dead last night after about 9.
Before that is ran really poorly as well.

Any ETA on the new upgrades?

I can confirm much better service speeds yesterday!

Hopefully an upgrade won't be needed soon again! Or at least planned in advance before speeds become terrible.
 
Yes, as stated previously, my account is running without a single issue.
Hulu automatically streams at HD and gaming latencies have returned to normal.
 
So the final feedback is that their system is showing the incorrect stats and I don't have the additional 50 odd gigs of rollover data left, so according to their system I should be capped.

Somehow managed to blow through almost 200gb during peak times in December, while being on holiday in another province lolz

Guess its WA during the day, and bolt on at night for me till Feb

That's BS and we all know it. If they can tell you've used the data on their end, why doesn't the client panel correlate?

I can report that online gaming with Xbox live on the XBone is impossible. They are blocking something on their side, either port or protocol. Have tried with Fifa 15 and Forza 5 so far.

Web Africa - all is perfect.

Another minus to add to the list.

Maybe VOX will fix that sometime during 2015, however, I won't be waiting until then.

I have a buddy who does online racing with me. With the servers being in Europe, sometimes the races end after midnight. But EVERY single night at 12, his connection resets, throwing him out of any online activity he is busy with. He has called Vox, but they just shrug their shoulders and tell him "we can't remove this".

This doesn't sound acceptable. Is there anyone here from Vox who could advise what he can do to remove it?

AFAIK, the uncapped accounts are on the IS backbone. Might as well cancel and go with Connection, Plugg or Webafrica.

Anybody else having trouble loading facebook? I've JUST upped my cap to 200gb and now am rather irate to find facebook hardly loading at all

Edit: Nevermind, all is well. I guess it was having a derp for a few minutes.

My friend and I still have the same problem and looks like Vox simply can not fix the problem. I cancelled my account and I will be gone from Vox by the end of this month. Enjoying my Telkom 10Mbps uncapped account since I'm now getting a pretty healthy discount. :-)
 
Welcome to my world, going to only kick up a fuss from the 1st Feb as I will be watching closely.......
I have been with Vox for 4 months now, I was also capped on the 1st the first 2 months and the last 2 times it has been fixed for me, no weird capping with data left.
