Vox Telecom Fatpipe

I have been with Vox for 4 months now, I was also capped on the 1st the first 2 months and the last 2 times it has been fixed for me, no weird capping with data left.

I've been with Vox since last year Feb.

I have been down this road many many times, I'm not doing it again!

Anyone else having issues with Vevo on Vox , alot of buffering , yet Hulu and Netflix runs at 720p without any buffering or issues ,
just VEVO buffers every few seconds?

Yup. I've found vevo quite bad though on other accounts, also crackle, so I suspect their servers simply cannot handle the load well.

Can't connect after latest load shedding cycle. I have power cycled the router and checked the settings in the router but everything is fine. Any other ideas?

Tried webafrica and even telkom guest but nothing connects.

Zenbaas = almesallaty ??? Or is copy/paste to blame? :D

Things fine for me in jhb north. Load shedding ended at 18:30 and I'm connecting fine.

Have exactly the same here in Cape Town. Been struggling to get more than 100kb/s on 10MB line... also keep getting timeouts and disconnects. Seems this may be a wide-spread issue with equipment not coming back up correctly after load-shedding... can't even seem to establish a good remote link to other off-site PC's :(

SFTP/SSH connections are also suffering.

It took about 30 mins after the electricity came back on yesterday before any of my ISP accounts would authenticate. My line would sync but no accounts would connect.
Perhaps an overload at the exchange because of so many routers coming back on at the same time? That's just conjecture from my part but it's the best explanation I could come up with yesterday :)

Hi,

If you continue to experience difficulty connecting, please PM me your account details and we can look into this for you.
