Is the OTP a new thing on the usage portal? I recall just entering a password last time I was with VOX when I wanted to check my account stats
South Africa’s biggest forum. Discuss, discover, and connect with thousands of members.
Most networks are throttling p2p during office hours and beyond, even 'capped' accounts!
Be advised that if you sign up for VOX, you need to wait "up to 24 hours" for something called a "T2 ID" before your account becomes active. Never seen this before... Not off to a good start! Even OpenWeb can pull off instant activation!

Nope.Has anyone else's VOX account died?
First I'm hearing of this. I've signed up for 8 VOX accounts over the last 3 months and all were available within 15 minutes of completing the online ordering form. It was only the bolt-on's that had to be ordered telephonically.
What is going on with vox? yesterday pings started to spike giving me random packet loss.
Woke up this morning to this:
Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at portal.vox.co.za.
Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

10-80% packetloss. 1/4 line speed.
My free WA account works fine
Check you DNS settings on your router, i had the same this morning found that my old Axxess DNS settings were there, changed to Google DNS settings and all back to normal.
I realise this is a VOX thread but comparing to your existing ISP is inevitable. When people say this it confuses me. I use MWEB and have absolutely no issues. This always has me wondering if I am just lucky or whether the ADSL line is actually to blame in many instances.
I have a 4Mbps uncapped account with MWEB and am yet to experience problems at any time. This month I am pushing the 110GB soft cap limit due mainly to the fact that I left the XBOX running downloads overnight recently and pulled 18GB. The rest is streaming at all times of the day.
When you complain is it perhaps about something I don't use, like gaming or torrents?
