No problems with Vox on 20mb ADSL2+
Would there be a noticeable difference / be worthwhile to upgrade to 20mb VDSL , or is it much the same download experience?

overheads are less on VDSL...meaning you'll get closer to 20mbps on the VDSL profile. The biggest difference you'll notice is the higher upload speed.
If you use capped data, then why not switch to 40mbps (or as close to as your line will sync)? There isn't that big a difference in price 20 vs 40mbps.
thanks for that, my line is only rated for 20mb copper, but maybe thats just a conservative telkom estimate.
might be possible to squeeze a bit more

Then 2 * 100 GB fatpipe accounts would be the best value for money as you will get a better experience with fatpipe at a cheaper price than 4mbps uncapped. As the unused data rolls over, you will then build up a nice reserve of data if you have a month where you might use well in excess of your usual 150 GB.
Phoning 10210 isn't gonna get you anywhere...I PM'd TelkomZA (Charl) here on MyBB and he arranged the whole thing for me.
Apparently you have to be within 800m from the exchange before they will lock you into a 40mbps profile. My house is 1200m away so they gave me a "30mbps profile". I get the same upload as the 40mbps profile, which is supposed to be 3mbps (I get like 2.85-2.9), and then I get 30mbps down rate...which is still worth every penny compared to 20mbps.
How do you sign up for Two FP accounts ? Two separate accounts ??
While we're on the subject of streaming... Anyone have issues with Twitch.tv?
I haven't been able to stream twitch since I've been on this account from the start of the month. Everything else is 100%
