Vox Telecom Fatpipe

I was on the 100GB R164 half price special. Just got the email from Vox to say I have been bumped to the new 150GB + midnight to 6am uncapped bundle. Yay! :)

But it seems the price has gone up :wtf:? Hopefully this is just a mailshot typo?



Anyone else have the same issue?

It must be tough reading posts directly above yours.
 
So I scheduled all my downloads for the 12am to 6am slot last night.I see that all my usage has been taken off my cap.Hope VOX get this sorted soon.
 
I had 200GB for R328. Bought 2 x 100GB accounts for R164 p/m. Just got this:

And that's not all... We are giving you FREE data between midnight and 6 a.m.

• Between midnight and six a.m (00:00 - 06:00) everyday, customers will not be billed for data usage
• This data usage will not be subtracted from any accumulated data
Unused data rollover:
Fat Pipe data still rolls over indefinitely i.e. it never expires
The maximum limit of rolled over data is 6 x the monthly subscribed cap e.g. Fat Pipe 200GB will have a limit of 1200GB of accumulated data

WHY CAN'T YOU PEOPLE READ??
 
According to fatpipe terms and conditions - 6.3 The supplier reserves the right to shape usage. When if ever will this occur (as this is a capped product) and if not what's the point of having in the terms and conditions in the first place. Also will the uncapped 6-6 include weekends and will it always remain unshaped to your line speed.

We haven't changed the Bolt on (6pm-6am + weekends), it remains locked to 10Mbps max.

Regarding shaping, if we run into congestion, we must shape, it's just real life. You can't put a large square through a small circle right?
 
Been getting a black screen which results in a system error whenever I try to check daily usage.

Since last night.

A bit of context would help narrow down the problem; in any case you need to escalate that to the service center.
 
Vox needs to protect themselves. Can't just allow the network to degrade by allowing everyone to download like mad while there are issues.

This is just for protection for IF there are issues that can be averted by shaping. Doesn't mean it will happen, just means they can if need be.

Correct. Commonly during a network fault.
 
So is the 100gb special over, I also got that email and I checked my clientzone and I have the 150gb account now?

Vox made an error in the customer communication yesterday, inserting default subs instead of actual subs being paid.
100GB & 300GB promo prices stay as is i.e R 164/ 100GB (actually 150GB now) and R 485 / 300GB (actually 400GB now).
Follow up comms being formulated as I type...by someone else.
