Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Not sure if the problem is with me or the Vox / Telkom network.. But International Sites (excluding Gmail and Facebook) isn't working.. YouTube, Netflix, Twitter, even my own US-Hosted website is dead!

Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem, but some local sites as well such as News24.

I'm in Durban.

Just called their helpline and it appears they are aware of the problem.

No youtube, no steam, no origin and various other things since yesterday afternoon. Whats the issue? Vox only?

Mweb and Afri accounts are able to access these fine. Vox is dead in the water with international.

Thanks, though it seems to not all international sites affected. Some are still working fine. Not cool for them to leave an issue on their end unaddressed for this long.

VOX has been terrible since last night for me, cant even connect to steam with it today.
Summary of Vox/Afrihost/Webafrica/XDSL (None are performing great).
Durban area to London Seacom Server.

Telkom is currently upgrading DSLAM boxes to MSAN in Durban. Probably that's where the issues are.

It would seem that vox is counting zero based usage to my standard usage. The downloads that I did for the past three nights between 12am and 6am is showing in my standard usage when viewing the tracker and not showing as zero rated usage. The tracker indicates that just a little bit of data was downloaded during 12am and 6am where there was actually 24gigs done each night.

I've lost +- 70gigs like this in the last 3 days. Anybody have any advice on sorting this out? If it goes on like this I'll probably have to cancel and move on. Vox support is looking into it but it looks like a losing battle.
Did you ever come right with this? My account is also showing incorrect usage.

Explaining the problem and trying to get it resolved was like conversing with a brick wall. Vox denies there is any problem and according to them there was no problem.

I bought an additional capped Afrihost account (hopefull that they can count) and now use that to download in zero rated hours. I downgraded the Vox account and are now more or less splitting things between them and Afrihost.

Afrihost = They can count!
Vox = Mostly more responsive with better latency

Hi guys, what happens to my allocated data if i cancel my fatpipe this month? do i loose it? I am going fibre soon. Thanks.
