Vox triples ADSL data for lockdown

Vox has informed customers it will triple their monthly ADSL data usage cap effective from 1 April 2020.

"During these trying times, staying connected is crucial in order to work from home, ensure the children can continue learning, and keep streaming your favourite content," Vox told its ADSL customers in an email.

Telkom must not try this, they will just roll over and die, under normal conditions, no extra speed or data the internet experience is totally crap. If they try doubling data and or speeds, or heaven forbid, both, they will just collapse.

I think most of Vox ADSL users have more than 1 Terra byte of roll over data in any case.

Got uncapped 10mbps ADSL, from Telkom and last 2 days it has been atrocious.

But then, these day I do not expect any better from Telkom. Their LTE-A is just as bad. As there is no fiber here, don't know what I am going to do, was hoping LTE-A would be decent, but so far I have lucked out.

I feel your pain. I gave up on ADSL. I now have Vodacom, Rain and prepaid Telkom LTE in a loadbalanced router. Works really well as you can set time limits etc.
