VPN help

hey guys

now im in IT but not networking and wanted to know someting about VPN
my uncle has a small office max 6 people, now i want to setup a VPN for him something cheap so that when his on holiday he can log on authenticate on his server use the shared areas and get his mail

Any suggestions ?
