International is down, again...
Can't access international sites.

I do not accept that there are "no issues on your side" Too many people are rapidly complaining on this forum that international is dead.

This is the last time... any further downtime and I will send you a cancellation notice.
I am also NOT HAPPY that you decreased my line synch rate without my consent. I discovered that this morning!
There is NOTHING WRONG with my ADSL LINE!!!!

MWEB IPC outage affecting All Regions
MWEB IPC services in the following area may be Slow : All Regions : MWEB members in all areas will experience slow international internet browsing and email due to a SEACOM link failure. Our engineers are investigating with Seacom
Start Date:2013-06-27 13:29:07
End Date:
Status:Open

So SEACOM is screwed yet again... I cannot be without internet for weeks at a time.
Time to change ISPs.
No further comments from me about MWEB. They won't be paid this month!

Dude there is nothing they can do, Seacom stuffed up again. Calm your rage

Yeah same here. Just got an sms a minute ago from them (MWEB) about some kind of Seacom issue affecting internet connectivity. This is really happening too often now.

Eish! Shame.

There are easy ways to move. Check a few pages back.

Glad I took the jump, my new ISP ain't perfect but at least I don't go into rage mode any longer.

The Seacom local back-haul is experiencing issues, doesn't seem to be any cable break on the Seacom cable itself.

You should look for a provider that makes use of WACS/SAT3 for backup connectivity. Unfortunately these do cost more, as there are increased costs to the providers to keep 100% capacity available on backup links.

Edit: Seacom is back up now, traffic flowing as of 2:10pm
Edit: Down again at 2:30pm

Do you have your line through Mweb? If not, they have no control over your sync rate.

I feel a little tiny bit bad for MWEB :p.

Not going to mention my iSP here but i got 48GB done today and still going, my Networx log shows 900KB/s +- since early parts of the morning.

Big wake up call for MWEB now.

I moved to Afrihost yesterday.
I was on a 4Mb Premium uncapped.

I also just found out this morning that these f**king jackasses at Mweb moved me to 4Mb without my consent either.
W@nkers, it's the same freaking price, and my exchange supports 10Mb.

No wonder I'm not really seeing any speed difference.
