So the WD MyCloud is currently on special, I currently use a 2.5 500gb as my OS X clone and a 1TB as TimeMachine.
For my media at Home I use 2TB 3.5 connected to DroidTV.

Tried a couple workarounds using PI and freenas etc but all are klunky and not really as portable as the MyCloud.

I currently have 2 iTunes libraries number 1 is on my MacBook pro and number 2 is on my Dell (this is where all the apps I rarely use like my kids apps, games and kids movies reside)

It would be ideal to have a portable nas where I can "store" my current macbook iTunes library and my kids apps together without having to copy their apps. movies on to my MacBook Pro?

Make sense?

Is this the way you persuade your SO that you need a new router :)

I'm planning to buy another 4tb external hard drive. The My Cloud allows for backups of the NAS

I'm very tempted only have 18gb free on my current 2TB HTPC drive connected to DroidTV.

At the moment I'm leaning towards WD MyCloud 4tb which will connect to Wifi N router, Droid TV will also have to connect to router.
Maybe use TuneSpan - to store applications, movies, series I don't want on my MacBook, move them to WD.
