Only reason I voted worse under ANC is because, erm... well, it's what we have to deal with now. The NATS is a thing of the past and it's not exactly part of our current problems we need to deal with.

A VERY select few benefited during those years and if you were not "in" and got caught, or were stupid enough to get caught, then you were thrown in jail.
The opposite is true today.
If I walked into the Parlaiment, the NG church, the school parent body meeting or anything remotely similar and yelled: "enige iemand wie nie 'n broederbonder is nie mag my maar kom bliksem" dan was ek veilig. There were just as many with a finger in the pie, but they stole with more finesse than the ANC is doing.

The problem with that argument is in the numbers. At it's height the BB had around 12 000 members. This pales into significance at the current ANC and Tripartite Alliance membership figures.

Yeah, pretty sure I know the mod who added it too. The demographics of that marketing survey proves that there are very few that would have properly lived and grown up during NAT. Besides which the business dealings were no where near as transparent as they are now so no one will ever know the real answer.

And you think that all white people benefited from corruption under Nat rule?
that is not what I said, but the strategies of the ANC is similar to that of the nats, they empower a few selector buddies while they try and keep the masses happy, indoctrinated or uninformed. the corruption continues, however the nats didn't neglect the infrastructure as the ANC does and they stole more silently. As for money loss, they are all corrupt as you can get.

1. I think they have weeded out the few 'not so straight' members and I now rate them pretty high on the corporate governance scale.

The Nats were a corrupt, racist bunch of morons. But then so are the ANC. Only differences are that they are ten times better at being corrupt, racist, morons and that the international community don't seem to mind this.

it took the international community almost 30 years before they hardly sanctioned SA
, eventually the sympathy for apartheid cup will run out. Or we will get another Party elected.I don't remember strikes though
