I see the fact that none of you are in a position to have known whether the NATS were corrupt or not didn't stop you voting.
The NATS had a media tribunal to stop any unsavoury stuff getting published, how are we to know they were corrupt or not. Stupid poll:mad:

Why would the ANC let bygones be when they can use it to show they are better than the Apartheid regime. They play that card around every corner

I would never say sweep it away. We all know politicians tend to the corrupt side.

So are we saying the anc are not worse so equal to the apartheid regime?

I was answering your question about it now having come out by now... realise the cartoon was dealing with the hypocrisy of white people when it comes to allegations of corruption of any sort as well as the corruption reports of those days.

Remember that certain things were agreed to during the CODESA negotiations that we are unlikely to ever be privy to.

I find your statement strange that about the hyprocrisy of white people. Everytime the DA or white people has been fingered for corruption people here has welcomed it and said that is how you weed the bad seeds out.

About CODESA. What stops the ANC from leaking that information? Seems that the ANC has been Corrupt long before they were in power.
And slowly things like the blood diamond saga will leak out and yes the Previous government will look bad. But they are history. The current one will always look worse not learning from the past.

Which makes it ironic that government still blame it for corruption.
 
The DA cannot afford to step out of line, until they're in power ofcourse (absolute power and all that).

With this new information act coming into power a lot of the previous regime's dirty laundry is going to be free to the public so hopefuly that will change some of the lily while perceptions have of the nats.

You can't inherit ethics or morals, only genes and physical infrastructure.
Blaming your lack of morals and ethics on the past, only shows that you know you're doing wrong, and yet, are still doing it anyway.
 
Still see it the same.

Show us the corruption of the past.
Then tell us how we will not do it again.
Tell us how it will be addressed?
How does one address corruption from the past?

I understand you feel people say let bygones be bygones.
What do you suggest? If the ANC steals enough or more it makes up for the fact that the Apartheid Idiots did?


Find the futters that stole and liquidate them. Send them to jail.

But why has it not come out?
I mean it is dirt on the NATS. THe ANC should LOOOVEEE that. ( i would too :o)
And we all know how everything whiteys do is documented.
