Thanks for the feedback, but the terrible latency and throughput experienced was not limited to that time period. It was actually for a few days. Mine seems better this morning. Slightly slower than what I'm used to (according to Speedtest), but otherwise ok. I'll be monitoring it closely for the next few days... going away for the weekend though ;-).
 
DL+ time was poor again.
12: 515 megs
1: 795 megs
2: 1012 megs
On a 6 meg line this should be 2 gigs an hour.

Seems news server not sorted or too much strain / demand on the network as uncapped users try to get the best bang for their buck and us capped users have to make the most of our DL+ gigs

Back to crap. As posted earlier - it was ok @ 7:00, but it has deteriorated badly (again). Even with the test account they provided me (which I assume is platinum bandwidth or something), I can still only manage 3Mbps at the moment. If the situation has not improved when I get back from Cape Town next week, I'm jumping ship. :(
 
Trying to download a tv show on iTunes with a 10mb line while this would normally only take a few minutes its been almost 30 minutes and ive only downloaded 50mb..... WEB AFRICA fix your damm network or i will cancel.... Waiting on your response

A few years back you guys had a top quality network, how that all changed...

The question is Wajeff, are the problems ever going to stop? Iam sure there are alot of peeps atm wondering the same thing

there was a time when your guys network was awsome and worked great. What happend? uncapped ?

I know from time to time there will be issues but if i compare WA to Telkom there is a very big difference (thats been my experience the last 8 months or so). I must be honest i dont think i have had an issue yet with telkom

Anyone else still having issues with Web Africa Uncapped. Its been super slow the whole day. I've tried everything. Router restart, telkom support etc etc. Getting horrible latency and DL speeds.

Here is the speedtest and tracert to www.google.co.za:

As you can see the speeds are horrible considering i have a 4meg uncapped line and account. It been going on like this the whole week.
 
Have not used the net much today but youtube was very slow this afternoon when I used it.

Something is definitely broken. 30gb Red Special & 10MBps line, getting frequent timeouts, Speedtest.net recons 0.64mbps download speeds. The test goes halfway around 6mbps, and then drops down drastically, ending around 0.6 every time...

Frustrating :(
