I can see why it's done like this, having a system that keeps track of every single user's usage per second on a byte level will require a lot of processing power and very very efficient code.
Just to clear things up on the accounting systems side, there's also a fairly large dependant on SAIX on getting the packets through.
Fair enough, I hear what you're saying.
I'm starting to think the problem is having one DL+ time slot for all users. When I'm downloading before midnight my speed goes flat-out. As soon as the clock strikes twelve downloads slow to a crawl and only start picking up speed a couple of hours later. Have you maybe thought about staggering the DL+ times? What about extending it to weekends? I would love to have that extra b/w available to use over the weekend, that would also mean I can spread out my downloads more. Just a suggestion
Edit: I must just add that speeds in general have improved greatly for me since the recent network upgrades.
