Unfortunately yes, our CPT radius server seems unable to proxy to the main server JHB to authenticate requests. We'll re-look at how we route that auth traffic once this is resolved to ensure we don't have an issue like this again. Update on NLD - one provider is still dragging their feet, Other provider has identified the issue to a switch in CPT. They are moving traffic to another switch. Should be resolved asap.

We are seeing traffic in CPT (intl and local) as well as JHB.

Will get onto this with upstreams as soon as current issues are resolved. Flooding them with tickets only causes confusion.
Seems like PPPoE just came back up. Thanks for providing feedback.

Interestingly, I ran an NNTP download test on a large file while the alternate route was still in place, and almost instantly saturated my line..

Update: NLD services are back up. Transit services are also fully restored.
Thank you :)

i see my line is back to 100 :( , i have sent your sales guys a email asking a bit more, as asked a few posts back as well

thought same pricing would apply for the next 2 months?

We’ll have to manually adjust for this promo. This one is too complex to create in our billing system. That’s why we’ve asked you to send a mail to [email protected]. Accounts will be processing upgrades at 1pm and again this evening. We have to submit the upgrade to Vumatel before 00:00 to qualify.

Thank you :)

In regards to your paid step up- we will consider your current stepped up package as your base product and upgrade accordingly. Accounts will respond on the sales email and clarify for you.

Eu Gateways buggered?

These kind of issues are becoming frequent.

Back with **** latency -

View attachment 885558

Our upstreams have been making some big changes to their networks, including some significant capacity boosts. At the same time, we've experienced quite a delay getting some new services up on our network (we always prefer having control over our routing and not leaving it to transit). Making alternative plans to make sure that these issues are sorted for once and for all - will communicate updates over the next week or two.

Alternate routes still seem to be in operation - latency doesn't look good on them:

@websquadza made the mistake of reconnecting pppoe and now cannot authenticate either. Had to buy some mobile data to post. Also Octotel, CPT.

Any idea what's happening?

Back up this side, latencies are back to normal too.

Picked up on another NLD issue earlier this afternoon (around 14:40). Failed back to alternate route until we know issues are permanently resolved.

Will look at introducing the third path into the default mix (requires some changes on our end) during our August CPT upgrades. As well as some changes to our radius proxy setup to alleviate today’s issue. Transit remained up, but PPPoE clients who dropped sessions struggled to reconnect during these issues.

I've got to say, the current routing to EU feels a lot more.. "responsive".. for lack of a better word, when it comes to gaming.
