What would be a good tool for windows to monitor when our internet is down? I’m trying to figure out if it is an issue with my Ethernet cord since my session on the router is not disconnecting.

After multiple rounds of load shedding, and me. turning the CPE on and off, it looks like the line has settled at 1000/250 Mbps as per the comms.

I assume this is the case for everyone else?

Yup. I signed into VXAdmin (the trenched management portal) - can confirm that 1G lines have a port profile of 250Mbps upload set by Vuma. I think the 500 we saw initially was a slip of the hand.

Any idea when the break between South Africa and the Middle East will be fixed, seems like it's been like this for a while and I have no idea what to search on the forum to find out more information, Thanks :)

Can you drop me a traceroute to the destination IP so I can check on this? I can’t find any updates on the cable repair anywhere. So not sure if it’s been completed yet. Also remember, if it’s AWS- they do sometimes take their time to re-instate a path (especially if its not a vital path).

I think they referring to AWS path since from the very limited time i get to game (thanks Eskom) their route has been down for about 2 weeks.

Trace complete.

I'm pretty sure it is the AWS, cause this is a middle eastern server which I know used to have a good ping of around 125ms, now sitting at 230+, if you need any more information I'm happy to provide.

Thank you :)

This Middle eastern AWS route has been down since the beginning of last month (probably longer), I also used to get ~125ms with my current ISP then all of a sudden it went to 227ms in valorant and it's been like that since.

Dear WebSquad,

Please thank VumaTel for the bandwidth upgrade(s).

@websquadza Please check the (d)DoS filters as I've yet AGAIN tripped it (~18:38- 18:44)
(The return packets when I'm doing mass SFTP/RSYNC+SSH transfers I guess)
