RD working fine, so maybe there isn't a problem. Don't know what's going on with speedtests, maybe a router reboot is needed.

Just picking up on this thread.. speedtests are all over the place. Will look into this. But the iPerf tests are showing good results at with full 50 Mbps to a server hosted far off network in the UK.

For now, as long as real world use hits your requirements, like RD.

reading up the iperf docs here. Looks like this instruction writes results to a file with the process ID. Not sure why or how this is used though

MTU setting 1500, well that's what mines set to.

EDIT: That's trenched, don't know about air.

If you're on a PPPoE, your MTU should be set to 1480. L2 Ethernet frame is 1500, so your PPPoE setting will be smaller to account for that.

This is it, change to 1480.

Your router should automatically configure MTU. Don't mess with it unless you have a reason to.
