yes, higher grade. You do realize that the answer to the iperf anomaly which has been driving me nuts for the last 3 months is contained in the -l value....![]()
RD working fine, so maybe there isn't a problem. Don't know what's going on with speedtests, maybe a router reboot is needed.

If you could take a look at my iperf test results I would be forever grateful! With -l 1400 the results are near perfect, without that value they completely nonsensical. Is that read write buffer value? -l value?Just picking up on this thread.. speedtests are all over the place. Will look into this. But the iPerf tests are showing good results at with full 50 Mbps to a server hosted far off network in the UK.
For now, as long as real world use hits your requirements, like RD.
Read write buffer?

-l, --length n[KM]The length of buffers to read or write. iPerf works by writing an array of len bytes a number of times. Default is 128 KB for TCP, 8 KB for UDP.

How would one explain this? From iperf manpage
Can you please send me a link to these docs. Docs from iperf.fr seem outdated

That makes sensePacket fragmentation due to packet sizes being larger than your router's MTU.
ONT or router? Router would be set to default value, 1492 I think but the ONT I wouldn't know as I don't have access to the ONT interface.Packet fragmentation due to packet sizes being larger than your router's MTU.

MTU setting 1500, well that's what mines set to.
This is it, change to 1480.ONT or router? Router would be set to default value, 1492 I think but the ONT I wouldn't know as I don't have access to the ONT interface.
