I was testing yesterday and Webafrica, Cool Ideas, Vox and a few others all had the same issue, its more of a peering (forgot the term for it) issue with Cloudflare.

Can everyone with an issue please go to https://www.udemy.com/cdn-cgi/trace and share the diag result?

PSA: We're live in a few more regions!

Cape Town, Octotel is live!
KZN: Link Layer and Link Africa are live!

For Frogfoot clients, thank you for your patience, we've experienced a short delay here. Our executive team are doing everything to get this sorted and live ASAP. More updates to follow.

Successfully got Cloudflare Warp working on desktop (Windows) so all my traffic now routes via Cloudflare JHB once again:

Hey got it setup

tricky at first but works well with wireguard and warp+ sub. At R30 per month billed from Vodacom airtime it's a steal.

I see they using Seacom for transit still.

What is the data limit before they start complaining you think? What is the benefit of using it except for getting all your data from Cloudflare peering which they fixed anyways. Still very interesting :)

I was using it on LTE as it performs better when you have packet loss
Another use was on Telkom LTE where their Facebook/Instagram CDN sucked so using warp you can use another one

If you dont really need it then you just adding more overhead to your packets

Do you have a link to a guide on how to set it all up?

I don't have the time to figure it all out.

Wireguard is actually very efficient. Better than the encryption that nordvpn used. 160Mbps average download vs 190Mbps on wireguard

Hi @websquadza

When are you planning on offering the Openserve line on a 100Mb/50MB deal?

I need a line that I can get a static IP address with, My home Fibre is with Websquad (and really happy with it). My company is on Afrihost, however I need a static IP address and was hoping I could move my account over to Websquad because I know you offer static IP's

Any Octotel users in Cape Town wanting 1 Gbps (1000/25) at R 1499? We're running a lunch offer for Octotel. Drop me a PM and we'll get you signed up.

New Openserve commercials should be in place by January (together with a CPT NNI). Apologies for the delay here, just been crazy with Octotel and Frogfoot launches. (FF national is also expected to be live in Jan)
