Google Update: Google's local CDN isn't serving IPv4 content at the moment, so we are reliant on local caches and transit paths for this traffic. The local caches are serving a large number of ISPs and are under significant pressure.

This is a good time to turn on your IPv6 if you're on a PPPOE connection. Google is still serving IPv6 traffic from their CDN. Most routers support this by default. Log in and enable IPv6 on the PPPOE connection.

YouTube is back to its nonsense again. Buffering a lot.

Good question, I'd also like to know. I see on the Tenda router there is a PPPOE option.

My fibre down aince just before 9pm. Trenched Fibre , oakdale in bellville

Any reason why? it's been years since it was 'coming soon' on trenched :(

Also packet loss seems to be mostly resolved
It’s still ‘coming soon.’ There just doesn’t seem to be any motivation for them to make it happen. Which is quite sad considering their roots.

Vuma trenched, I am also down CPT northern subs
Bo oakdale too. Close to kenridge. Just other side of tygervalley
Fibre yes on vumatel I think

Fair warning there seems to be a big issue with vumatel trenched atm, seeing alotta reports
No notices from Vumatel yet- but we are seeing a spike in trenched issues nationally and across ISPs at the moment. Will update as soon as we have a clear picture.
