Have you tried bypassing the Unifi again to see if this helps? Those times are odd - will try see how we're receiving that traffic and if anything could be affecting it there.

Still DDOS upstream protection being triggered in this regard. However, this is more on off than time/speed. Alternate transit route didn't help much due to added latency (via paris). But we are working on a solution to put this to good use.
Yea. have tried that. I do remember seeing people complaining in the area whatsapp group of vumatel issues on Thursday iirc, you guys might need to log a ticket for them to come out and check the network in this part of the world :/ Can't even listen to spotify tonight, it just keeps buffering, and there is no unusual packetloss on the network

If you can log a ticket, I'll ask the team to push to Vuma. How's handover performance? Just out of interest, MSS clamping still sitting at 1432 on the UDM? Could be an MTU issue in the area - have you tried playing with MSS?

Definitely something weird with YouTube tonight @websquadza, haven’t had issues for many moons.

In CPT so I’m assuming not related to issues elsewhere.
Having 240p and bad buffering but Speedtest reports everything hunky dory.
Happy to do some tests if there is something that can help?
CPT Southern Subs, Octotel.

Confirming that I also have the same issues with Youtube - Openserve, Gauteng area.

@websquadza - Could you please get an update on #454904? Going for almost two weeks of radio silence from support regarding the issue. Considering moving to another ISP.

No known issues. As always, have you checked for obvious packet loss / last mile? AEX issues aren't uncommon of late - so always check for packet loss. Beside's Google's issues of the past few weeks (which are mostly resolved now), it's more likely to be a line issue than peering/internet.

I thought you'd disabled this? If you re-enabled it, Tenda AC8 needs a reboot every now and again to keep v6 working well. We've engaged Tenda about this, but little feedback.

I switched it back on to see if it helps a while ago

Seems like the YouTube issue has been resolved now?

4k video playing without issues...

Looks like there may have been a short issue on the Google side. They're not forthcoming with issues on their network, but both CPT and JHB pull from Google's JHB node. KZN pulls from a local cache. We have requested an on net cache from Google, which will help.

Will get the guys to respond. Apologies for the delay on this one.

Anyone else unable to run a speed test or do anything international? Can run speed tests to local provinces, but nothing across the pond to UK or USA.. Therefore overseas sites won't load.. Vumatel trenched durban
