Everything is slow. Whenever I open the YT app, it takes ages to load and eventually just shows my offline downloads.

In some cases, it does load but then the comments section of a video says I’m offline. Weird.

At the moment, it seems to be working but I’ve noticed the issue comes up regularly
This sounds more like a complete loss of connectivity than a sluggish issue? Not what other users are describing. Have you raised a ticket so the team can help investigate?
 
Likely a Vuma area fault. Log a fault so we can escalate
Thank you. It definitely seems to be the case. Fault logged at 14:30 but no reply yet: Ticket ID is 564382


Regarding the YouTube issues, I’ll monitor it once the internet is back and make a new ticket related to it if the issues persist.
 
Same here all traffic drops. This has been going on for a few days now it seems

if i use a mtn dongle, international works, if i use my fibre line, no international :(
 
Morning. One of our transit vendors completed some overdue switch replacements last night. However, it seems they didn't follow SOP of downing BGP sessions gracefully first and keeping them down until the L1/L2 legs were tested and complete. Sessions seem to have flapped a few times, restored for a short while and then flapped again for a while- causing quite a bit of consternation while the network recalculated routes (reconverged). We will address this with the vendor.
From yesterday, so I'm guessing its the same issue again :(

Starting to think the same.

Support from Websquad has been terrible of late. My eu speeds are trash have been for weeks and they do nothing. When they did log it with Vuma they gave them the wrong address! So they just never came and this was 2 weeks ago!

Now my plex streaming services wont work and im being told its my isp.

Been with them for years - sad they are going the same way as most isp's go in sa.
 
I am also seeing issues since yesterday, can't even run Speetest, just says connecting and Google search has a delay loading the site or results, something is definitly not ok

It's the same vendor issue again as yesterday I'm willing to bet, you can get around it by using a ZA VPN
 
To me it almost seems like a DNS issue, there is a delay with loading everything, especially international traffic but when it loads it's fine (full speed) - if it loads
