With a Home Capped account only P2P & NNTP is shaped especially during business hours. After-hours it should be as close to full line speed as possible.

We have the 2gb free account for our customers to test (just move slider to the 2gb account). Just give it about 15mins after first connection for it to assign the correct profile and test the performance for yourself.

Am interested in this too..

Looking to move from AH purely because I cannot handle the concept of being shaped on a capped account.

You will be shaped on a home account during business hours. That is why people recommend a business account if you want to download during the day using P2P etc
 
On the home capped accounts will streaming still be possible during business hours since it a home account?

I have not had any issues streaming during business hours yet.

I listen to internet radio all the time and it is a hassle free experience 99.99% of the time

Our Home capped accounts are shaped/prioritized as well, but mainly P2P and NNTP during business hours.

Streaming is one of the protocols which has a high priority on our network so it will definitely perform during business hrs.

Business hrs are weekdays 8am-5pm.

Cancellations are the same for all services which requires a full calender months notice i.e: cancellations must be submitted before the last day of a month for it to be effective at the end of the following month.

why the big jump between R80 and R150? why nothing in between? might give this ago if my current woes continue.
