3 rd day trying to get through to support![]()
Thanks WA for the nice upgrade in D+ data! Whoop whoop!! Some serious value right there!
Yeah, my account has been acting up today as well. A number of disconnects earlier today, router stats look good and line is stable so I'm not sure if it's WA related or Telkom related. The line has been dodgy for the last couple of weeks, Telkom repaired some damaged cables so could be them but WA/IS have been having DNS issues for the last couple of weeks too, so could be that...
Hi sand_man,
The DNS issues have all been resolved but due to the load-shedding you might experience intermittent connectivity. The issues is at an exchange level where the exchange sites are running on standby power and some cabinets being down due to battery capacity.
The unfortunate this is that we have to wait for Telkom to fix the issues. We will update everyone via the status page as we get more info around this issue.
**** you telksum. My line got cut off now because I still need to pay R13.00![]()
It has been bad the weekend and bad today. My uncapped is fine (another ISP). This makes me sad, because Webafrica has always been more reliable and faster.
I am getting very slow speeds tonight.
Any problems with the network?
So before the start of this month I sent in a request to move my line to WebAfrica and be upgraded from 2mbps to 4mbps. Yesterday, over 10 days later the line was finally moved and upgraded to 4Mbps. However I am still syncing at 2Mbps. WebAfrica has told me I need to wait another 7 - 14 days for the fault to be rectified. Is this REALLY how long it takes to simply move and upgrade a line?
We are still having a problem at our offices as well.
We can sign in on our Afrihost backup account, but when we sign in on WebAfrica we get yellow flags on all the computers and no Internet.
