Weight Loss/ Gain thread Dec 2014 - 2015

Drew - I am withdrawing from the challenge

I have decided that this will be the first year that I don't have to actively diet and weigh - I am just going to live my life according to LCHF without using the scale - my work pants are a good indicator if I start putting on weight (which in theory I should not).

I will weigh once a month and keep you guys posted and would love to still be actively involved in the thread.

Ok Current info:

Start Weight: 94.8kg
Current Weight: 92.5KG
Goal: 85Kg

Update:

Started boxing training yesterday for my fight (28th March).

Did a morning and evening boxing fitness session yesterday.

Today I am broken. Feeling good, but sore as all hell, back to training tomorrow!

Fat is a controversial

In my opninion, when people refer to fat the majority of people think that you refer to fat found on lamb/pork tjop or biltong.

LCHF is really talking about fats that comes from Avocados/nuts etc.

Not exclusively. I get a lot of my fat from meat.

My fat mostly comes from butter, olive oil used to cook with (and over salads) and then avo, skin on chicken pieces, bacon and some fat on my steaks, biltong.

Looking for low calorie, filling foods. I suppose non-starchy veg is one way to go. Only need to drop 500g per week to reach my goal and then some.

3rd boxing session done and dusted this week. Just easing in.

Next week it ups to 4-5 sessions a week and then ups again after that. So far I haven't bothered to weigh, but i'm definitely on the right path to dropping the weight, walk out of the gym dripping.
