Weight Loss/ Gain thread Dec 2014 - 2015

I got weighed on Saturday and I've lost another 2Kg. So I'm 82.3kg as of the 17th. I've also been doing Zumba 3 times a week which I think is helping a lot with the weight loss. I changed my weigh loss doctor and wish I'd started with them. What a difference. They did a body scan and told me all the things I need to work on such as drinking more water. I also found out I'm not 160cm

Anyone done the fat freezing thing? Does it work, is it healthy etc. They recommend I do that when closer to my goal weight and if there are really stubborn areas on my body.

The name's not Randy, thanks for trying. And your comment is just a weak copout, since you singled out my comment. That means you were talking specifically about me and people on this forum - by extension. So trying to pretend doesn't do your already fragile credibility any favours.

Here you go Randy

So can I, that doctor you send the link of, lost his medical license:

Thor, we can go around and around until this thread is hundreds of pages long. Let's agree to disagree.

Parting shot: there WILL come a time before you and I cease to exist that the medical world as well as dietary advisors like the FDA in the states will finally stand up and admit they were wrong about saturated fat. They will also admit that switching humans to eating polyunsaturated oils, especially hydrogenated ones, was the biggest mistake in nutrition and are partly responsible for increased cancer and heart disease rates.

It may only be in a decade or 2 but it will happen. The issue stalling this change is the 30-40 years of incorrect advice that humans have been brainwashed with and it was all based on BS studies with far from accurate results.

Do yourself a favour (last request) and read that book "Big Fat Surprise" - torrent the ebook so it doesn't cost you anything (health should trump piracy conscience). If you still think we are all completely wrong after reading that then there is nothing anyone else can say that will change your mind.

2nd biggest.

Biggest was the food pyramid.

I will go read the book if and only if the author is credited and not like the previous one who posts after loosing his medical license.

I have no issue in reading the book to get a better point of view, I just don't want to waste my time.

Just for reference, I follow Kris Gethin's nutrition plans at the moment while doing DTP.

Why does Thor sound like one of those religious nuts that only believe what he wants to believe and can't use his own brain to see the difference between what's real and what is not?

Maybe invisible man got hold of him. Thor what is Thor?

"My ass is so Thor I can't sit."

People have different opinions. Deal with it. If you don't like the opinion of this group F off and go find a group that agrees with you.

Like Fanie says. You sound like a Religious extremist.

Now my question. When in this journey do you guys cheat? Once a month? Once every three months?

( I crave pizza ) :o

Because he is hard headed and unwilling to enter a mutually beneficial debate, but rather charges in with blind faith that his knowledge is correct and everyone else is merely ignorant :D

Well thats a bit harsh - I don't personally like the LCHF opinion and I am certainly not F-ing off :D - he could however approach the topic in a better manner

Can I add me to the challenge please, or is it too late?

Tx, I haven't cheated since New Years... But pizza is my favorite food :o I would sleep in the box... Sigh.

I'm going to try that "blomkool" pizza.

I feel the same about a good bunny and a beer. But the longer you go without it the easier it is.

True. That is kind off what I tried to say. But why come here fighting when everybody is just trying to help each other. Take from this what you need and leave the rest. Or F off and find another group. :o
Or read this thread while you eat pizza, and smirk at me.
