Weight loss

Get a BF measurement tool then otherwise we can't do a before/after

Additional info : height is 159cm
Bmi is 24.5

Don't worry about the bf measurements...I'm just in it for the challenge and the company :)

Eh, too bad this thread didn't exist earlier in the year or I'd have joined but at the moment I've only got 2-3kgs to go, another 4-6 weeks should do it. I think I'm around 15% BF, maybe a touch lower.

I'd suggest in order to determine a winner that entrants need to do before/after photos, the number off the scale might tell very little about the transformation. Else entrants should be aware that any muscle-building activities are not going to help them in this thread.

Tips - do not go extreme, restricted abstaining style - rather moderate portions so you can eat the foods that tempt you but in small quantity. Practice mindful eating. Abstaining completely from certain desired foods during a diet almost inevitably results in post-diet "make-up" session(s) of binging...

(Mortymoose could own this thread with very little effort!)

Depends on your goals - if you were looking to go from 15% to say 8% that is unlikely to be 4- 6 weeks unless you're genetically gifted - sub 10% BF is notoriously hard.

sounds good, anyone got any ideas where i can get a scale that does BF% and other such measurements?

my dietician has a fancy one, but im scared to ask how much she paid for it:erm:

take a big bag..swipe it when you walk out! :D alternatively just ask her

if anyone wants Herbalife to assist with the healthy lifestyle, perfect nutrition, weight control and loss.. inbox me and we can chat about getting you some discount prices.. :)

Herbalife takes like donkey sh*t.

If anyone can get a dr to prescribe you Duromine. That sh*t will make you bounce off the walls and drive you to exercise just so the excess energy doesn't drive you nuts.

:D I tried it. My doc gave it to because I don't eat meat and I was finding it really hard to lose this weight. Before anyone says it was irresponsible, I begged him :o. The side effects are just not worth it.

Why do people keep promoting crap in this thread -

Eat well, control your portion sizes and do some jogging.

just take clenbuterol then and be done with it.

I will partake in this weight loss challenge.
Im currently 83Kg, 1.79m tall.
Target weight is 76Kg.

Im starting crossfit properly next month , currently doing squash 4 times a week, boxing twice a week, all in evenings.
Will be cutting out all fizzy drinks, lowering my food portions (because I eat massive amounts) and attempt to limit my beer intake.

My bf and I got an app called C25K which aims to get you off the couch and jogging 5km in 25 minutes over 9 weeks.
Its a nightmare
But at least we are doing it together :)
