Weight loss

I'm up 1kg :( I think its cause I havent been taking enough fluids...possibly fluid retention. Im hoping.

Aiming to drink 2l of water from today. Also getting some fennel tea.

I have a medical phobia so I tend to avoid Doctors like the plague :o

I came across something sometime ago that if I recall correctly explains why you're skinny and fat, but damned if I can find the source, I'll keeping looking, if I find it I'll let you know.

Thanks OMB

A lot of people find it difficult to believe that I can be skinny and still have an unacceptably high body fat percentage.

When you really fat, not psychological fat (like Shaun) as you start losing, your fat goes all flabby...tummy is quite gross at the moment, so I am sitting in a mcdavid belt for support (plus it burns the fat cells while in use), otherwise flabby tummy would probably be hanging on the floor.

On the good news side, dropped quite a few c"m from my peak (was 136kg:o) and have changed belts this weekend from my really fat obese belt to just me fat belt as I went down to the last notch, so that was cool.

If Shaun's quoted body fat percentage is right, he is indeed overweight ;)

Holy hell why am I bothering with healthy eating, exercise, lifestyle change ?????

There is no mystery surrounding skinny fat- its exactly that-
When an individual has very little muscle - and above average fat.

Muscle gives us a lot of our "shape"
Google images: Built fat vs Skinny Fat.

Its difficult to diet out of - generally if you wanna beat skinny fat you need to consume protein and lift heavy weights till you get some decent muscle. Something like madcow does this well.

Once you have some muscle start cutting slowly

Lets not all be so anal, it is an aid and not a solution.
Like an eating plan or exercise on their own is not a solution but an aid to a goal.

Says the guy who refuses to believe I am skinny fat :p

At least Drew knows where I am coming from
