I came across something sometime ago that if I recall correctly explains why you're skinny and fat, but damned if I can find the source, I'll keeping looking, if I find it I'll let you know.
When you really fat, not psychological fat (like Shaun) as you start losing, your fat goes all flabby...tummy is quite gross at the moment, so I am sitting in a mcdavid belt for support (plus it burns the fat cells while in use), otherwise flabby tummy would probably be hanging on the floor.
On the good news side, dropped quite a few c"m from my peak (was 136kg) and have changed belts this weekend from my really fat obese belt to just me fat belt as I went down to the last notch, so that was cool.
