Weight loss

On this topic - had to buy a new shirt over the weekend.

WHAT THE EFF is it with chinese-made clothes and sizing?
I tried on a 2XL, couldn't even get it over my arms.

Eventually had to get a 4XL - and it's snug.

Madness.
 
Oh speaking of food... I ate some chicken breyani for supper on Sat.

A glass of wine before ensured I was able to get it down :o

Doubt there will be a repeat performance anytime soon.

Lots of questions. First one, if you notice you're only able to lose weight when you ditch grains and processed carbs, does that mean you're carb sensitive or have a gluten sensitivity?

Basically you get American, European and Pacific Rim sizes. People are shaped differently eg. Asians are short and small built in general.

The South African figure doesn't fit that well into any of those sizes.

Vanity sizing is also quite popular and means that the size that the garment is marked with isn't very realistic.

on thee way, however i couldnt find anything sugar free, so woolworths chocolate cake and swiss roll will hafto suffice :D

You were right. The fish was horrid. I'm going to try chicken and prawns. Pho3nix has a recipe :D

My plan excludes all refined carbs, white bread, pasta sugar etc because of my IR and PCos

Is that the same as diabetes?
My mum's diabetic. I do not want to end up like that. I don't think I'm diabetic though, cos I've done intermittent fasting and I can go the whole day without food.

The SO wants me to try some mince samoosas... after the chicken breyani I am not sure I even want to bother.

I even thought I might have pcos because I couldn't lose weight, but I don't have all the symptoms.

Insulin resistance is a precursor to type-2 diabetes.

I had to give up soya on this diet and I miss it so much.
