NONONO! Fructose and glucose... come on. 5.5 grams per 100ml? That's crazy and WILL trigger carb cravings.

Go on, don't leave us hanging... why are peanuts bad? Lectin? Aflatoxins?

peanuts are actually a legume and not a nut and are often said to have the highest concentration of aflatoxins

the other problem with nuts is it's exceptionally difficult to manage portion size, ever notice how quickly you can go through a packet of nuts?

Even one spoon of sugar messes with me. Crashes my blood sugar straight away. Canderel yellow is much better - zero impact on blood sugar and tastes identical to sugar.

They say that you must only have a handful but what fits in your palm.

Evidence is starting to accumulate that they can do more harm than good. Their mischief comes in the way of messing with a digestive feedback loop (your body does the maths apparently and finds that "calories expected from sweet thing" does not match "calories derived from sweet thing". Result is a tendency to overeat.

Random link contains glaring grammatical error in heading, so I won't trust them ;)

Also contains such gems as:
Your body was meant to eat real food and it does not consider artificial sweetener to be food, so in anticipates of food our pancreas release insulin in our blood stream. The insulin levels will continue to be high unless you eat some sugar or food. Having a high insulin levels for a long period results in high blood sugar and insulin resistance.

High insulin for a long time results in LOW blood sugar, not high... ffs.

Better than coke and all the rubbish drinks with aspartame

OK, don't know about you, but I'm insulin resistant, so for me ANY sugar is truly evil, aspartame is a minor devil compared to it.

Dunno.
Anyhow at the present time I only drink water or sugarless coffee
