Weight loss

Question, if carbs are the enemy why do the 2 seemingly largest/ thinnest nations eat carbs as a staple (Indians/Chinese)

and interestingly enough India and China have the highest levels of diabetes, coincidence?

ive heard/read about this a few times, what do you normally do/eat on a fasting day, and is it literally one day normal, one day fasting?

Can you give us an idea of your daily food intake? Maybe something's sneaking in there that's messing with you...

hmm oryt lets give it a shot,

i generally have a protein shake for breakfast with low fat/skim milk.

Around 9/10 i either have a yoghurt or a fruit.

Lunch time is varied, i generally try to have it carbless, but sometimes i dont bring lunch and get a wholewheat sandwich from the cafeteria, with cheese, tomato and maybe some chicken etc.

another snack of fruit yoghurt around 2/3pm

and supper around 6pm after gym, which consists of some veg and protein(red meat, chicken, fish etc), no carbs generally.

OK, try without the fruit. Check the sugar content of your yoghurts?

Also, I'd try going with something like bacon and egg for breakfast - then you probably won't even feel the need for a mid morning snack. Try snacking on macadamia nuts or biltong if you do need something...?

yea i was just reading something about the fruit part, think i might consider the biltong/fruit suggestion.

for me the generaly problem with breakfast is time, i am not a morning person and i barely make it out of bed in the morning to get to work on time, hence the protein shake :o

If I ditch the 2 fruits I usually have can I replace it with Lindt? I haven't had chocolate in so long, I can't remember what it tastes like.
