Weight loss

I think you should definitely start a thread, it is fascinating.
Do you mountain climb, where else have you been etc etc so many questions.
Also dibs on your Lexus if you don't get back...

ok, I'll do it a bit later, don't want to derail this thread :)

Well sorry I have not been posting here much this last week. Goof news though. I was away for 2 weeks and I put on 1.5kgs :( but a lot less than what I thought I had. BUT the good news is this last week I have lost the 1.5kgs :)

Decided to delay joining you guys. Was too stressful the past two days, and it's a long weekend and we're waiting for a huge payment this week ... next Monday, promise ;)

After discussing salt in coffee the other day I decided to try 'bulletproof coffee'

My version:

blend:

freshly brewed quality coffee
1 large tablespoon unsalted butter
1 large tablespoon coconut oil
2 tablespoons cream

It's heavenlyyy. Just finished my third cup.

a large tablespoon is super large. more is always better aint it ;)

hmmm, I don't use cream in mine, maybe I should try it, I use 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 of coconut oil

There is always a long weekend, or a party or a wedding or stress or something. If you need to lose weight then the time to start is right now. Done properly you can still enjoy great food, I am off to have a huge plate of prawns, booking is for 7pm :)

My situation has been pretty bad for several years now but I see light at the end of the tunnel ...

Managed to give up 22 years of smoking three years ago and then did 107->90 in three months. Slowly got that back but still not smoking! So I know I can do it quite easily but I'd rather wait for when I know I won't relapse because of stress factors.

My system is three meals a day but low kJ meals. It's very easy as a single guy shopping in Woolworths. And no alcohol. One day a week off.

Also, I like starting on a Monday :).

Just back from awesome Heritage day doggy walk, about 6 - 7km, was awesome. Local Midrand doggy school, very well organised with security and SPCA van with water, was great fun and good exercise!

How's braai day going? I'm stuck at work so not much braaiing happening here.

Thinking of tossing a rump on the braai later with some 4 bean salad... mmm
