I will respond to those two answers. I fully disagree that this would put TONS of people out of a job. Mybroadband is a select community. Most of the individuals here are in positions in companies who can actually make business decisions. Allowing these people access to certain hardware at cost effective prices (read dealer prices) will allow these people to have these devices in their homes. They would start getting used to the type of devices and would eventually recommend them to their company (same brands etc). This will allow more of these devices to go into corporate organisations. This in turn allows more ICT growth in the corporate world. It also educates the country on ICT as more and more of the devices are being sold. This also progresses us as a country.

It is very difficult for someone to recommend moving in a certain direction in an ICT sector if this person is not well aware of the products himself. Thus like I said allowing these individuals ( read mybroadband members) easy access to the products is a better for the whole. This would lead to selling more ICT equipment which leads to more job creation.

I will even provide an example. I can buy from esquire. If I need a specific piece of hardware (lets say GPU), I will go to esquire as they will have the best price for me. (I will do my research before hand). The next day I need a DVD-ROM, since the savings on this device is not that great at esquire(taking driving time into account) I will rather support the small PC shop in the mall. The next day my manager asks me what server to recommend for the company. As an organisation we only use some preferred suppliers, some of which I know who uses esquire and I will then recommend these preferred suppliers to purchase the server. This all because Esquire has supported the community and I know that standards of their service.

As far as I am aware, Esquire is doing the best out of all the resellers out there? Perhaps this is because of their active involvement with the community? Just think about this for a moment.

Esquire is a wholesaler and direct importer. Do they provide end-user support? No.

Esquire, are not greedy because they make the product available equally to everyone.
If Esquire selling direct to the public is threatening your business, then your business is obviously adding no value in the value chain, and really should not exist.
Its people like you that are greedy and trying to make sure that consumers only buy from the likes of you, so that you can make your markup, while adding no value.

That's a bit harsh.

I make my money providing support for desktops, servers, and networks, as well as the odd bit of website hosting and design.

My money comes from supporting hardware. I do not have a shop, so I don't need to mark my goods up astronomically to cover costs. Obviously I'd like to make a small something for my time and effort.

Just so you know, "the likes of me" covers the full cost of any warranty returns back to supplier and back to my customer.

So, you can go and suck an egg.

The information I have given you states that I am here to give information ,and that you will be able to get the item from many eCommerce stores.

I am not punting this product for anyone, I am giving information on a product in a Hardware thread.


Oh and with regards to your previous statement about my error of typing three and counting four, i do apologize, but i do make mistakes at sometimes. One of those mistakes would normally be my grammar I am afterall second language english

However you chose to do so under the Rectron brand, which implies that you at some point want us to go and buy these products. This is the very definition of spam, but pretty harmless spam and I'm happy as long as the products are interesting. But definately spam.

It advertises indirectly, without so much of being a benefit to the community here.

Dealers/resellers add value to the mybb community - we add value to their bottom line.
That's the ebb and flow of the MyBB user and the registered MyBB Dealer/Reseller.

The information I have given you states that I am here to give information ,and that you will be able to get the item from many eCommerce stores. Your information is biased to be in favour of Rectron. You are not here to inform us of every product, only products that Rectron offers. Advertising again.

If you were not punting the product you would have never told us that your resellers are selling it. This bit of information would not be useful if you were not punting the product.

You did not put in the appropriate effort to neatly do a short write-up of a long article that you copied and pasted. It would have been much more useful if you only provided a short write up with a summary. This would have been much more helpful than just reciting something you found on the web.
