What do you feed your dog?

i give my pets Hills Science but they do get a few vitamins from birds they catch since one of them is very very hyper and likes to bite and catch anything too little minded too enter the yard.

Mine are On Vets Choice, its the only Food that make their coats shine... I have found montego classic to be even worse than pedigree, so for us its Vets Choice,

We stopped feeding our dogs from the table for the simple reason their teeth started going stale, and we have to have them cleaned, so its only pellets

At this point i'm thinking Poison....:D joking.
But everybody knows the trouble i have been having. Hubby is sending the pic's of the garage door i'll post it on my thread. ( we had to replace our garage door over the weekend)

I give my dog (Malteze), cooked chicken mixed with rice and mixed frozen veggies.
She also gets doggy biscuits. I found that the pellets I used to get from my Vet, caused a skin irritation.

Dog food

What do you boys and girls feed your dog? So many people and vets have different views. I currently give my dog a bowl of tin (husky, butch etc) a day. He also has pellets 24/7. What is the right way... tin food gets pricey, any other healthy options?

I have great Danes- they tend to have problems with their joints- the adopted one already has arthiritis and he is only two- they get Vet's choice large breed- cost me a fortune as they go through 20kg a week- but as soon as i feed them anything else their conditions deteriorate nearly immediately. they seldom get "human food" as they end up with runny tummies- which is not something u want with 3 danes- to get them a bit fatter I do feed them ox livers mixed with pap on a sunday.Except for the adopted one with the hip problem the others are in perfect condition!!!!!!!

What you should give them is a tablet called Fortiflex 525 (for big dogs). I have a Boerboel and he has joint problems, we feed our dogs "ultra dog" and it works for them, but these tablets are amazing (expensive though...R500 for 30, big dogs take about 2 a day). This reliefs the pain and actually rebuilds the joints

I don't have a dog, but if I did I'd feed her Hills

If you did you would be broke, hills is flippen expensive, we feed our cats hills, because they do not sweet through the pack like a vacuum cleaner, and 3-5kgs cost about R300 currently, and that lasts about a month.

For my 4 dogs, we buy a 20kg of ultradog for R320 every 2 weeks

Yup - I feed my cats as well.

My mom get's dealer pricing as well ... helps me a little :)

Three of my dogs refuse to eat any chicken dog food. They prefer eating beef for nearly 2 weeks they went on a salvation until I bought them Beef Dog food. The vacuum cleaner aka euro lux gobbled 20 KG in less than a week. If it wasn't for the vet advising me would have never known.

Thought they were coming up with Palvo or something
