-- Treat thier customers like human beings
-- Redundancy/good QoS/low downtime
-- good flexible hours of support

Setup & Support (remember most small to medium besinesses don't have the technical know how to set up internet connections)
Quality Service.
Good fail safe if one network goes down eg IS (dunno whats this called) and this should cost more as not everyone needs this facility ie reliabilty
Priority service for business use.
E-mail sercurity.
Pricing should be flexible ie customers should have the abilty to choose a custom set of facilty eg If want good fail over but dont need uncapped.

- Redundancy
- Technical Details (what is shaped, the order it is shaped)
- Network status page (Mweb has a good one)
- A salesperson
- A reseller account, to get my clients on their network as well, not to make money

From a business side, I want my ISP to be reliable and have slick customer service.
From a home side, I want my ISP to be affordable but still have a decent amount of bang-for-buck.

Currently my ISP for home and business are one in the same, but am still satisfied.

Telkom are the nanas I always have problems with, every week calling to say my DSL isn't Syncing, which may be why they aren't my ISP but that's another issue.

ISP requirements

Hi folks

We are doing a short survey to try to understand what small and medium sized businesses want from ISPs. It will be great if you can tell us what your business expects from your ISP (hence not your residential needs, but rather your business needs).

Please post what you want from your ISP in your business here.
Price, consistent throughput,

voted no, cause they do not provide a stable connection at the speed I applied for. Is all I want, give me what I pay for and try be up for more than 10 days a month.
