I have a Netgear DG834 modem-router and although the router syncs fine (and has perfect attenuation/SNR) it is not able to connect - only gets as far as "Initialize LCP".
I logged a call with Telkom and I have no connectivity since Friday afternoon (Broadacres / Fourways) - really frustrates me as Telkom is completely incapable of fixing it.
It is not an issue on my side as the router syncs and I can make phone-calls. The DSL call-centre is useless, since their technicians working on skeleton-staff over the weekend.
