If Google Chrome was made unavailable today, which would be your preferred web browser?

Safari since Ublock Origin lite is available for it now. Vivaldi / Firefox as backup since Brave can't sync iCloud bookmarks.

If Chrome was unavailable, most of those alternatives are still Chromium.

but ... but ... essentially that whole list is Chromium, not being Chrome doesn't mean you have a particularly unique DNA if you share it with Chrome (i.e. Chromium)

only Safari and Firefox are left really, and I hate Safari sooooo ...

Google are pushing most of their control into chromium so it doesn't matter much anymore. All the chromium based browsers are just ending up being the same thing with a different sticker and maybe one or 2 extra features.

For us it's a choice between long term market controllers' products like Google's Chrom(ium) efforts, and more free market efforts like Firefox. Guess which we choose, and which delivers better service?

Edge mainly because work uses it.

I also have Brave and FF installed but these days I don't really notice a diff. It's not like the days of Internet Explorer and Firefox.
