Hahaha I wish... I have to atlas look like I am doing my actual work :)

I've had SO many USB drives over the years and the only ones my kids or finance seem to loose are the 3.0 ones - I have a draw full of 2.0 drives but they never seem to use those ones!

I must say tho that when I install Windows 10 even to a normal HDD from 20.0 USB drive it is still very fast (the actual install part) compare to older versions which is very nice.
 
So I finally got around to building the PC this morning and when I went to close the final side panel, I ran into a problem!!!

The main PCI-E power cables that connect to GPU, stick out so the side panel can't close.

Any suggestions or am I completely out of luck?
 
That's horrible luck, why would they make the chassis that narrow. I think you are out of luck, I hope you are able to return/exchange it.

Is the no cable extenders I can buy or maybe squash the wires more down?

Is it just the cable in the way or the connectors as well? If only the cable you can try bending them 90 degrees to the connector.

Else you are schite out of luck.

Yeah it's just the cables. I was able to force it closed tho but it bulges out:

Can I leave like that or is that not recommended? Is there not any cable connectors I can maybe buy to connect to the PCI-E cable that turns it into a right angle or "low profile"?
 
Can you take another picture from the side and back accross the gpu using a ruler as a level?

Yeah that would work but is there no one in SA that sells them?

For that price with shipping, I may as well just buy a different PSU that has "low profile" connectors etc.

For the time being it should be ok until I find another solution.

I highly doubt they will allow me to return the case so I'm stuck with it.

Aslong as squashing it like this won't break the GPU Then I don't see any other immediate solution.

I didn't look...I was just checking if it existed. Wootware might carry it.
 
^ I had the same issue with my asus gtx 570 and old 2010 coolermaster case (Coolermaster RC-335 , Elite 335 , Windowed side panel , No psu , black : tools free ; 2 x front usb + audio in/out - 4x 5.25", 1x 3.5", 6x 3.5" hidden - 1 x 120mm fan support upto 2 - atx) .

My new Cooler Master N500 Black ATX case was bigger so no issue there.
 
Didn't even think the width would be a problem, Corsair also don't list the GPU width anywhere, the closest guess I can find online is 120-130mm, which is just ridiculous. Surely you can talk to Wootware and explain the problem.

So not sure if it is my PSU that just has bigger / thicker than usual cables? It's a Corsair VS550 PSU.

I think that's really a design flaw which they didn't notice until after production started on the cases, even in that official Corsair video the PCIe power connectors can clearly be seen mashed up against the window.
