What supplements do you take?

Going to give the Quercetin a try, I see GNC stock at Clicks. I Get sinus infections every 2nd month. I basically get by with sinus rinses (Use Salex SSR). I've had 5 sinus ops already... My ENT's (Plural - been through many) put me in top 5 worst patients:wtf:

Good to know about GNC - I've been using the Solgar one, but I don't think it's a bad thing to mix brands every now and then.

Where did I say processed is better? Can you find the word processed in my posts? Go on, I dare you.

I said raw food is overrated. I'm not going to eat a raw potato or raw beef just because some nut thinks that is what our ancestors would have preferred.

I'm not going to look for raw dessert recipes just because it is the latest fad.

Cooking some food is essential, and sometimes even makes nutrients more available. In other cases, such as olive oil, heat destroys a lot of the goodness. But to say we must not cook anything, is beyond stupid. This whole paleo diet thing has no basis in science whatsoever. Numerous studies attest to that.

Is a diet that is higher in whole, natural foods likely to be healthier than a diet high in processed foods? Yes, of course, for numerous reasons. But eating raw food does not make you healthier.

Eating raw food does make you healthier! There's way more chance of you getting sick if you eat a cooked steak than eating it raw. Chicken is a perfect example! Always eat raw chicken!

As for what our ancestors used to do... We need to get back to that! Because our ancestors lived much healthier and much longer lives than we did!

Vitamin B Complex
Omega 3
Zinc

I used to take Whey protein, but wow the stuff has become expensive!

It sounds to me you have a problem with your intestinal flora

You need to eat some more food thats still alive and probiotic: raw kefir and raw kombucha changed my life.
Esp. the kefir: At least 1l a day. Made preferably from raw whole milk; untreated and straight from the cow; that'll fix your constipation quick.

80% of your diet should be raw and stay away from antibiotics and cheap supermarket meat and milk (because of antibiotics )

Fermented foods also help wit gut problems. Buy from a health shop or make your own it should NOT contain vinegar.

P.S. kefir's such a pain I always waste litres of milk.

Oops this post is a tad OT - apologies.

From now on, I'm going to ask KFC to give me my chicken raw.

I'm going to drink a lot of beer - that is raw and it has lots of good bacteria in it.

This is how you necro. The nmn is p.oos expensive though so not sure how long I will be taking it. But my main ones I try and take everyday would be my vitamin b complex, vitamins c and now nmn and resveratrol. IMG_20210920_190336.jpg

Nice selection. NMN and Resveratrol has been on my list, but I decided against them. NMN/NR is just to expensive for what they do. From what I can see Nicotinamide also boosts NAD+ quite a lot, if you look at the study they did on how it protects from sunburn. I can agree that it help for sun protection.
Resveratrol seems to be very low in bioavailability. Its main protective mechanism seems to be via PDE4 inhibition, so I just take a low pharmacological PDE4 inhibitor.

I will probably have to update my list again on what I take soon. A lot won't really count as supplements though.

I take the trans resveratrol with mct oil (mix it in a spoon out the caps). I think I read olive oil activates SIRT1? Does nicotinamide do the same thing as nmn?

Waste of money in my opinion. Rather get actual test.
