First car : Ford Anglia (on loan while I studied)
Second car : Chev Firenza (bought from my dad)
Third car : Ford Escort 1600 Sport (bought new for R5005)

Fist car I bought was a Alfetta 1.8 from the 70's. Was great fun in Swakop on the salt roads when they were wet. Sadly never took a pic of it, looked just like the one in the pic below.

I had a 1998 VW Polo Classic 1.8i whcih was a dream to drive. It had about 74KW of power.

Did various long trips including a drive from CPT > JHB and back.

2nd car: 2004 1.4 Chico.

3rd car: i20... Served me well but quite a boring car and parts are quite pricey when things do go wrong.

2nd hand 2004 Renault Clio 2, the 1,2 engine. Did many long trips even Joburg to Durban and back. Never a days trouble, very under rated cars.

My first car was a Vauxhall Viva, 1968 model!
Paid R 400 for it second hand, real piece of crap! Sold for R 200 in 1971.

Singer Gazelle

My first car was bought after I arrived in South Africa in 1963, it was a second-hand Singer Gazelle, maroon colour, which I found out was not the best colour as it faded rather badly, but otherwise it got my wife and I to where we wanted and needed to go.
