What's for supper - Second Course

Ate one of these custard fruits just before dinner.
The entire inside flesh is edible - soft, creamy with a kinda mild pear / vanilla taste.
Real nice.

Homemade butternut ravioli with burnt butter sage sauce.
An experiment before a function I'm catering for next week.
It's a winner!

Sure it tastes great. But you don't think you took the butter too far? Also since it was an experiment I don't think you payed much attention to presentation so won't judge that. Maybe for the final product chiffonade some fresh sage to sprinkle on the end. Also some texture like walnuts. Finally shavings or grated parmesan. Just my thoughts.

Butter was perfect☺....may just be the pic.
It's going to be served in little bamboo "boats" on a bed of rocket with pine nuts and grated fresh parmesan

I dont get to cook much these days sadly. (Prison style house sharing), But i still lurk this thread incase something inspires me.
