What's up with Digital Addiction?

Just my luck, one of the PSUs I bought from Conrad a couple of months ago, has k@k-ed. Anyone know where he might have got it from?

It's a Gigabyte Odin 585w.

Yeah, take it direct to rectron, they'll happily deal with you.

Do I need to get hold of an account? I know my company has one, just want to know if I need to get the info from them.

I was not saying anything about amount and realize 1 or 1 million is the same thing, my point was the amount in question does not seem like an amount you would run away from if there were problems, 2k is tiny. I may be wrong but why would someone go out of their way to ensure their company gets trashed for 2k? Even if you are in the kuk.

Would be highly silly to let a thread like this go for so long for a tiny amount of dollars :D.

Sheesh I complained about Nandos not delivering something I hadnt even paid for, if R2k was involved I'd be a lot more upset.

R2000 isnt a lot of money? Okay give me R2000 then.

Yes it is not a lot of money when a thread like exists. It is like nando's ignoring a client who ordered a 100 rand worth of food and said client makes a thread like this. Why would they do it for a tiny amount? Makes little to no sense to me. It does not make what happened right but still seems very odd.

Way to backtrack there :D

Poor feedback / response

I ordered an item in August and after waiting more than 4 weeks I received what appeared to be a second hand product. Several weeks of delays later I decided that I wanted to be refunded, however it is useless to try and get any response from Digital Addiction. They promise to phone back and to return my mail but they simply don't respond.

I called them once and the receptionist simply informed me that the responsible person is out of office and will respond as soon as possible. Whoop dee doo, that did not happen.

It makes sense now that I see this thread. Question is how can I ensure that the new owner does not bail with my money?

Jirre, now that is sad to hear.

If its credit card, phone the bank?

If its EFT, phone your bank, explain the problem, then phone his bank and open a case of fraud.

I saw an email from them saying it was under new management by a woman named Nicki ... no idea who Nicki is though.

Well theoretically speaking ... I did win the award in 2009 :P ... unfortunately, since the sale ... it seems a drastic downslope took the turn ... I just hope my name doesn't get embroiled in this mess :( ... when I sold to Conrad ... he was so enthusiastic, I never thought this would happen :(
