What's up with Digital Addiction?

Hi All,

This is very sad. I just checked and they have not been a customer of us (Jump.co.za) for more than 6 months. We have also tried to reach them of more than one occasion with no luck.

At the time of the 2009 E-Commerce Awards Digital Addiction was still doing a great job, and its a pity that it had come to this.
 
We have now disabled their account on Jump and they will not be able to list with us until we get some answers about the queries mentioned here.

We will however not be able to remove them from the 2009 awards, because at the time they did win it, and it was based on merit back then.

jump is just an advertising paid for shopping site, who cares really if there is an award or not - a better and much more reliable award imho would be the mybb awards, this I would respect!

Could you not mention below the award that the store is now under new ownership? It would also reflect badly on you guys if someone clicks through from jump and has their money swiped.

Well it is a right off so it should be cheap and may be easy to turn around :D. Everything is setup, the company is well known. A couple threads about new ownership and good service could turn it around.

A company is only as poor as the last owners in my opinion. If i could get hold of them i could ask.
 
You would be its 4th owner in like under a year or something. Good luck.

But the winners are chosen by Joe Public if I'm not mistaken.

Threads here won't do it all.
Also you'll be buying existing client's headaches.
Then you're also not taking into consideration any potential cockups at suppliers.
What's to setup?

It's a CC, a brand, a website and some hard work - make your own and be proud of that ;)

Yea i agree but i do not know the first thing about websites so this could become rather costly.

I do see your point though :D.

Damn ... well there goes that off my CV :( ... I wish I never sold the company ... stupid honours taking over my life :( ... I could have made the company so bloody successful, but I had no choice ... it was sell or no honours :(

Killa ... I'm happy to give a helping hand where I can if you like ... I'm still subject to a restraint of trade for just over a year though, so can't enter into anything ... but nothing prevents me giving advice or starting in just over a years time ... or even starting something that doesn't compete directly :P

Shot i will see how it goes but it is a major thought for next year hopefully :D.
