Thread age is irrelevant as it's quite a universal topic.

I'd go with:
Ford Mustang.

We'll they did say any model.

My vote has changed over the last few years!

I thought Audi was the one and voted as such, but I prefer a Volvo ....

Ha! Mine too, I had to check the thread as to why I voted Mercedes.

Wheres Alfa?

The Giulietta came 5th for car of the year by judges vote and 3rd by the public vote.

Alfa of today thumps the half of those cars there...

*edit lol...only realised how old this thread was now....

Seeing as this necro is getting going again.

I wouldn't really count the Giulietta as a sedan. But this poll is 5 years old, so you can't blame them. Jaguar on the other hand?

Mine has also changed in the last 5 years....

Jaguar is now numero uno in my books... damn they're just stupid sexy.

There is no luxury VW/Sedan. Unless u mean Passat/Jetta

I know how old the post is but... the current Passat looks really good in my opinion

I love the Passat or VW cc. One came driving up behind me one evening and I saw all the pretty lights all over the place behind me. Had to slow down and get in behind him to figure out what car he was driving. :)

I'm driving the VW Golf 6 GTI and the car is amazing. It gives out 8kW more power than its predecessor while reducing fuel consumption by almost 3L/100km. The first car I've driven that gives me over 10km/l.
I usually drive a car until the warrantee expires, but with this one, I think I'll try to extend the warrantee to 5 years as I don't see any other car in that price class to replace mine with. Nothing speaks to me (except the new GTI 35 edition of course).

If I should however upgrade from VW, my vote would be for Audi. It is a decent sporty car and not so much a status-symbol like BMW. Just go for the A4 or up. The last time I checked, the A3 / A3 Sportback still had the old spec engines (same as in the Golf 5 GTI). I didn't have any issues with mine, but I've heard some horror stories about those engines once they go over 110000km plus the fuel consumption sucks. The A4 is available in the new spec engine (155kw), same as the Golf 6 GTI.

If I was over 50, I might have considered Merc :)

Volvo... their slogan is "Volvo for Life"... that is very accurate :)

I've always liked Honda... good quality car, but they don't turbo charge their engines and I'm done with normal aspirated cars. It's hard to go back once you've driven a turbo car.
