Checked out some reviews on the M65 and just about everyone gives it a big thumbs up...I think this will be my choice.

Not the sharkoon darkglider. It sucks for FPS gaming (lifting the mouse is horrible, not proper side grip on the right hand side)
RAT3 is okay i suppose.
The m6980x is your best bet IMHO.

Logitech G400. Uses the same chassis as the Mx500/Mx510/Mx518 and is comfortable as all hell. After my old Mx510 died I had a Razor for a while but it was so small and didn't fit my hand nicely. After the Razor died I went back to old faithful (with new insides).

The G400 can usually be found for under R500 and has pretty damn decent specs.

For FPS, a good optical mouse is recommended. Not in your price range, but I'd suggest Logitech G400s, or even it's older models.

I have the G700 awesome mouse but after two years i now sit with the double click problem. Every time you click the left mouse button it clicks twice. Don't know if i will go logitech again. Also looking for a cheap mouse.

Hi all, well i have this atm http://www.gigabyte.co.za/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2896#ov

for gaming, though after 2 years of hard pressing and gaming it is starting to wear and tare ..

So time for a new one..Budget is NOT very big though ,R150-R500

any ideas which could be my next mouse to replace my current one?must say i like the laser on this mouse, more responsive ect :)

So any ideas where i can buy a nice mouse and where to buy it..Thanks!

This not as easy as you might think, this all depends personal preference... some prefer high dpi some don't, are you left handed or right handed (as some brands have horrible support for lefties) . Do you want programmable macros. Do you have a large or small hand. Do you prefer heavy or a light mouse or customizable. Do you play more with your finger tips or with your entire hand resting on the mouse. Answering these questions would give people a better indication of what to suggest rather than just the latest greatest brands.

Not sure if it's been recommended, but the new Logitech G502 has been released and looking pretty good, very sexy too. Perhaps you can get a good deal somewhere online. Else, the Sensei [RAW] from Steelseries is a good gaming grade mouse for a budget.

I would get an entry level Razor for that price. Razor or R.A.T or gtfo :D

Don't buy a Razer mouse. The quality of them has really gotten bad.

You can't go wrong with Logitech, Steelseries or Roccat.

In general Steelseries have good quality (although thier products are overpriced). My Steelseries Sensei RAW is a POS. Already sent it back to be replaced.

Already chose the mouse i'm going for, but right handed, average to small hands, not to heavy not to light 120g sounds good, macro's dont bother me as i see it as an unfair fight in fps gaming, dpi around 3000 sounds good...

So it came down to the gigabyte m6980x ,yes it can do macros, but the rest of the specs sound pretty good for the price
