Some IR here and there, but goes away as soon as different content appears
Interesting.
I was told mine plasma has IR because it was old.
But that was the number one reason for changing to LCD for me. The plasma had such a natural picture, but the image retention - no matter how temporary - annoyed me every time I saw it.
The most noticeable would be the white credits on black background on a movie. While dimming the screen, changing the mode, closing the curtains, setting the contrast, pausing occasionally, turning on Pixel Shifter Plus II and doing a small dance in front of the TV may have worked, I did find it easier to get a set that didn't have IR at all
