Am now on Atomic Access over Octotel. Been with them about a month and can't say that I have any complaints.
 
When I finally got fibre, Cool Ideas was rated no 1 so I went with them and have no regrets to date. When I had ADSL I was jumping from ISP to ISP because of the FUP's and variable speeds depending on the time of day or night. Cool Ideas just works. This is on an OpenServe backbone.
 
I remember the days we all loved Openweb and now no one mentions them at all lol.
 
Was not happy with Cool Ideas even though they were rated #1, always buffered on RD. They also couldn't offer my 1000/100 on Vuma Aerial, so I moved to Web Squad who could. And I couldn't be happier (so far).
 
Still happish with cool ideas..could be better at times..but at least I know they trying to.fix whatever is wrong sometimes..

I actually got an account with them because Webafrica and Openweb sells Internet Solutions accounts and their capped 100GB account comes with unlimited data between midnight and 6am.

I wanted to test how the account works on fibre and it's not too bad actually.

100GB capped account from Openweb on a 200Mbps Openserve fibre line.

Still don't like Webafrica, Openweb and IS.

Is it normal to get vastly faster speeds from your ISP, by accident?
Long story short, I paid for a 100/50 line but i'm hitting like 800/50

MyBB speed test right now:
Ping: 2ms
Download: 942.05Mbps
Upload: 50.27Mbps

I've got them. Sometimes their service works but often it sucks. We don't have a choice as Telkom would not give us more then 1.4 Mbs on a 2 Mb line. and have now decommissioned all their services in my area.

When border internet does not work - esp after hours - their service desk goes fishing or to sleep or they are having dinner on the moon.
 
Did some extra tests...

I get 500Mb to Cape Town
I get 250Mb to New York
